Pia Portmann - (CH)

MusikBuero Basel

Pia Portmann (she/her; Basel/Bern) is a DJ, facilitator, and activist.
In her projects, she merges political and musical events. For example, Pia initiated the queerfeminist Queens* of HipHop Festival. She has taken on various roles in the music industry, e.g. as festival coordinator, booker, production leader and now as part of Musikbüro Basel.

Musikbüro Basel promotes, advises, and connects the pop music scene in the Basel region. There, she is responsible for emergent talent, Awareness and consulting. As a facilitator, she creates formats that nurture connection and trust between people – turning strangers into allies. Pia studied Philosophy, Linguistics and Gender Studies.
