Flèche Love

Maeva Heitz is an artist from Strasbourg. 

As singer, songwriter, composer, and actress, she navigates both the emerging cultural landscape with her recent projects Maeva (a new soul duo) and Anakin (a solo hip-hop act), as well as the field of popular education.

Beyond her artistic work, Maeva Heitz has led various cultural projects aimed at promoting women in urban cultures (Cie Mémoires Vives, the FACC). She also conducts writing workshops in schools, prisons, and various social support structures, viewing her development as a performing artist as inseparable from her committed actions and grassroots teaching.

Listening to Flèche Love is to be pierced by a voice, a presence, and a message that provokes sensations, emotions, and striking images.

Flèche Love carves a sensory path, and when she sings, it is both a corporeal and spiritual experience. She is not just a free voice akin to Björk, Sevdaliza, the more recent FKA Twigs, or the late Lhasa de Sela; her unique and avant-garde music is intertwined with dance, which she practices as a form of liberation with diverse inspirations, blending Japanese Butō with Oriental dances and krump.

On the occasion of her new album Guérison, Flèche Love offers a true vocal therapy with a performance built around spiritual music where her voice pierces, moves, soothes, and paves the way to healing. Comprising her new creations, with their oriental, traditional, and baroque influences, as well as the artist's existing repertoire, Flèche Love seeks to share her journey towards healing, touching hearts and souls in search of renewal and peace with her voice.
