CUR - Chloé GATIGNOL
Chloé worked for nearly four years as a project coordinator at Technopol, the French electronic music network. She is now the project manager of Courts Circuits, an initiative experimenting with slow touring across European electronic music scenes.
Chloé also works as an independent project manager and curator for various events in the fields of music and performing arts.
Launched by Technopol in collaboration with DJs for Climate Action France, Music Declares Emergency France, and the Collectif des Festivals, the COURTS CIRCUITS initiative proposes a new, more environmentally sustainable touring model. Its goal is to rethink the mobility of artists and audiences, which can account for up to 80% of the carbon emissions of an electronic music event.
This new project focuses on so-called “short circuit” tours: shared travel routes between multiple venues, prioritizing low-carbon transportation, and programming local artists to reduce long-distance travel. Three pilot tours will be launched across Europe starting in winter 2025, with an initial lineup featuring, among others, French DJ and producer Vel.
