As a country girl constantly searching for her place in the world, Fanny Gillard decided to study acting, which allowed her to be anyone and everyone. At the same time, she developed a growing interest in music.
With a first prize in dramatic art and declamation and a specialisation in psychopedagogy and the methodology of spoken French under her belt, Fanny soon gave up the stage in favour of teaching.
But if you don't want it, it comes back... and something was missing... something powerful... a place where she could finally be herself but hidden from view... and all these criteria converged on radio, THE perfect medium!
After starting out on VivaCité and Pure fm (now Tipik), music became the centre of her life at RTBF, with a daily radio slot on Classic 21!
Add to that TV appearances (weather, Rio Olympics, D6bels on Stage, 20H02, TEMPO, etc.), another microphone in the group Josy & The Pony and her role as mother of 2 daughters, and you have a woman who is fulfilled in her personal and professional life 😊
