Loverman

Folk ( Bel )

Loverman is the solo project of Belgian artist James de Graef, formerly a member of the eccentric rock band, "Shht".

For this new project, the Brussels-based songwriter and composer with a deep voice reveals himself in a minimalist formula, where the guitar accompanies his twilight poetry. Following in the footsteps of Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave, Loverman navigates in a chiaroscuro universe and delivers haunting songs, touching upon an ideal of timelessness.

Hello, this is Loverman, here to tell you a long story short.
It begins with a sequence of the inevitable followed by more of the inevitable (if you know, you know) which set in motion a journey for something true. A journey starting at the place where all truth finds its bearings, the blessed and bloody capacity for love in each-and-every human being.
Throughout this journey, haunted by my love and hate for the hardcore continuum (Burial), for my homeland (Belgian Brit/British Belgian), modern day troubadours (Brel/Walker/Cohen), and the abstractions uniting all of the
above (The Singing Detective), I wrote love songs on an old guitar. They tell you a new story you’ve all heard before but still need to hear. Stripped down to their bare necessities, these love songs recollect and reload. Written and recorded on a rooftop somewhere in Belgium.

Aurel

Pop - ( Bel )

A few months after releasing his EP "Saison Mandarines," he felt the need to experience music in a more spontaneous, liberated way. He bought an old 4-track cassette recorder and composed 9 tracks over the course of a summer. Without a computer, without a screen, without pressure, without chasing singles. Just following his desires blindly, spontaneously.

It did him a world of good to record without tempo, without possible retouching. Just one take. (Re)Learning to accept mistakes without being able to erase them. Real life in itself!
"Abracadabra K7" is a LOFI album centered around a guitar, a drum machine, and a piano.

Clément Visage

Pop électronique ( Fr )

On June 22, 2023, Clément Visage unveils himself with "Des Restes," a debut EP in which he delivers a collection of five unconventional tracks that immerse us in the heart of hypnotic, introspective electro-pop.
With captivating beats, stripped-down arrangements, and a voice akin to a confession, Clément embarks on the path of artists with sensitive and incisive lyricism. Already making waves as a solo performer, he has previously opened for Jay Jay Johanson and Zaho de Sagazan.

Prior to launching his solo career under the name Clément Visage, Clément Grethen was a member of the band Ippon, participated in the collective adventure La Flopée, a true stage oddity, and accompanied Tioklu on stage during their recent tours.
