ALBERT JUNG (FR)

Poetic folk pop

Albert Jung began his musical career under the stage name Banditminuit. In 2021, he was quickly noticed and wins his place to Les Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges. After a journey full of challenges, this Strasbourg-based singer-songwriter decided to return to his roots, using his real name, Albert Jung, to express a more personal and authentic musical identity.
In 2024, he released his debut album, "Les Grandes Vagues", showcasing his unique musical universe. In 2025, he is invited to perform at the IKF (Internationale Kulturbörse Freiburg) professional fair and at the About Pop festival in Stuttgart. His repertoire blends diverse influences, from realist French chanson to folk and poetry. On stage, he delivers intimate performances, sharing emotional moments with his audience while alternating between guitar, piano, and vocals.

IPPON (FR)

Dark erotico disco

Ippon is a dark and danceable electro duo from Nancy, blending cosmic synths, saturated drums, and reverberated vocals. Their sound combines influences from Soulwax's electro rock, David Lynch's film scores, Hot Chip's synth-driven music, and the darkness of Suicide. Their debut album, "What Can I Test?", will be released in autumn 2024 on Clivage Music, the label founded by Vitalic. Their live shows have earned them a solid reputation, performing at festivals like Bon Moment Festival and FIMU. The album's introspective lyrics and cerebral, yet powerful music, evoke the spirit of bands like LCD Soundsystem and Nine Inch Nails.

JAGUARE AFFAIR (FR)

Indie pop

Melodic basslines, clear guitar sounds, untamed drums, and a velvet Moog... It’s like a subtle mix of Bertrand Belin and Mac DeMarco under the influence of David Lynch and Nino Ferrer. Behind the elegance and self-deprecation, Jaguare Affair immerses us in a refined pop with soulful undertones, where the sharp pen of Edouard Choupay takes us on a journey between deep authenticity and playful form. Supported by the Explore program of the Grabuge network, he released his first single "Perdu" in January 2025, followed by "Chanson de secours" in February, with an EP set for release on March 21st. We can’t wait to see him on stage!

RODOLPHE BURGER (FR)

Indie rock

Founder of the group Kat Onoma, guitarist and singer, Rodolphe Burger has been developing a highly original career for 30 years. His many albums and projects, supported by his label Dernière Bande and the Compagnie that bears his name, bear witness to a creative generosity that has seen him collaborate with many authors and artists, including his writer friends Pierre Alferi and Olivier Cadiot, as well as Jeanne Balibar, Alain Bashung, Bertrand Belin, Françoise Hardy, Jacques Higelin, Ben Sidran, Rachid Taha, Erik Truffaz, James Blood Ulmer...

Rodolphe Burger is also the founder and artistic director of the "C'est dans la Vallée" festival in Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines (Haut-Rhin, France), which he will be presenting in this blitz session at SMW. He will also be closing the festival with his latest solo show !
