Since 2012, the LiveMusikKommission, abbreviated as LiveKomm, has been a significant partner in Germany's club and festival scene. As a national federation, it represents over 750 music clubs and festivals across more than 100 cities and municipalities .

LiveKomm's members are among the leading promoters of local cultural events, contributing to urban tourism and the promotion of both German and international talent. The association stands out for its ability to combine passion and economy, art and commerce, societal orientation, and the rebellious spirit of the underground. Nevertheless, music remains at the heart of all its members' commitments.

LiveKomm is a member of the German Music Council (Deutscher Musikrat), the Forum Musikwirtschaft, the Forum Veranstaltungswirtschaft, and the Interessengemeinschaft Veranstaltungswirtschaft. It is also part of the European network of live music venues, LiveDMA .
